I encourage people to use this as a reference when spreading the message about the Alt-Left and why it must stick.
When President Trump branded Antifa as Alt-Left, he did something that up until this point, no right-leaning politician or commentator had been able to; link leftist violence and intimidation together under one name. Leftist news organizations such as CNN and Vice went into total damage control, publishing multiple articles to squash the term from spreading which is clear proof this stings them just as hard as being branded ‘Fake News’ did last year.
If you observe all the leftist violence in the last year, it is wide ranging. From Chicago paid protester riots, Berkeley antifa riots, Steve Scalise shooting, Portland stabbing and more, they are all disconnected. It is fair to say that Antifa is not responsible for all of this, however Alt-Left can be used to cover all of these from lone-wolf shootings to BLM and Antifa. From this day forward, any acts of domestic terror by the left must be branded as Alt-Left.
Vandals who follow the recent trend of taking down statues also qualify as Alt-left. They are all part of the same group using violence and property damage to push their leftist ideology. The left owns these criminals the same way they own various rioters and we cannot let them forget it.
Lets remove the word ‘Antifa’ from existence. We cannot allow them to act like they are ‘counter protesters’, they are all part of the Alt Left and every attack from now on will be linked to Charlottesville and again to each other. The precedent has been initiated where all future leftist violent incidents will be linked to that horrible day. By calling themselves antifa they think they have the moral high ground by being ‘anti fascist’ which is of course, a complete lie. Once you remove their word of choice, all they stand for is violence alongside the rest of the Alt Left. Just as George Orwell described with newspeak, if you control language you can control thought.
Trump is an absolute master at branding and his words ring in his enemies minds for years, driving them insane. When you brand people Alt-left, they feel as though Trump himself has branded them. This is why the MSM demanded people to stop saying it.
Brand these LARPers and make the word ‘left’ precede every single instance of their violence, and any other leftist violence.
